Michael is a tech entrepreneur, innovator, and storyteller driven by a singular purpose: to use technology and creativity to empower people and transform systems for good. As founder of StarCoach AI, he’s leading the development of an Agentic AI teaching aide designed to give educators more time, insight, and support—so they can focus on what matters most: improving student outcomes.
A lifelong boundary-pusher, Michael previously founded Apptera, where he pioneered the first web-based speech application platform, secured 20 patents, and partnered with Fortune 500 leaders like AT&T and Bank of America. His creative storytelling career, recognized by Sundance and the Nicholl Fellowship, reflects the same drive to connect innovation with human impact.
